Is it better to run a tinting business out of your home garage, or is it better to rent a garage away from home?

Answer 1: If you have security concerns, you might want to avoid running a business out of your own home. This is because customers will likely enter your home and stick around until the job is done.    Answer 2: It can be tiresome when customers come in and use your bathroom. Even if you create a “no-bathroom” policy, your customers will likely beg to use the bathroom, especially if they are pregnant or have small children.    Answer 3: If you want to create a home tinting business out of your own garage, you might want to create a “drop-off only” policy. This means that the customers will not be able to enter your home, and you can increase security and privacy.    Answer 4: If you want to take yourself seriously and create a truly professional tinting shop, it’s probably a good idea to rent a garage away from home. This helps you create a barrier between your personal life and your career, which is important for mental health and organization.    Answer 5: Security measures may become a priority if you run your tinting business from your own home. These might include security cameras, firearms, and dogs.
