How to tint the backglass of a 2019 Honda Civic when there’s a spoiler on it

Method 1: The best thing to do is just to remove the spoiler. The spoiler can be removed by removing the plastic cap from the inside. Remove the 4 bolts holding the 2 handles. Then, remove the 2 housings for the lights on the trunk. You will also have to remove the wiper and the wiper motor since there’s another bolt behind the motor holding the spoiler on. There should be 6 to 8 bolts holding the spoiler to be removed. The whole process can be done in 10 minutes by an experienced tinter   Method 2: If you can’t remove the spoiler for whatever reason, you can still tint the backglass by cutting the film in 2 pieces.
