How to prevent film from lifting on the bottom of a Honda Accord

Method 1: Keep in mind that there is a foam strip at the bottom of the back glass on Honda Accords. Most of the time, when the bottom of the backglass’ film is lifting up, it’s because the film is slightly butted up against the foam strip, and when water collects near the strip, it wears out the adhesive over time. Make sure the film is not placed too low. Often when plotters cut film for these models, they don’t account for the bottom strip of foam, cutting the film slightly too big and making it vulnerable to water.   Method 2: During prep work, scrub the bottom section of the glass with steel wool and 70% iso. This should help the adhesive stick and survive any collection of condensation in the future.
