How long does it take for window tint to fully cure?

Answer 1: About 24 hours on a normal sunny day.    Answer 2: To be on the safe side, you should give your customers an estimate of 48 hours. You might also want to instruct them not to roll down the windows for 48 hours.    Answer 3: The curing time depends heavily on your location and climate. For example, many tinters in Florida claim that their tint cures in an hour or even less. In colder, damper locations, tinters claim that it can take days.    Answer 4: Curing time also depends on the type of film you use. Higher quality films feature excellent adhesive which cures very quickly regardless of your climate or temperature.    Answer 5: Some tinters instruct their customers to leave their cars in direct sun for a day after the tinting process is complete. This is usually enough to ensure a complete curing process.    Answer 6: If you are concerned about your customers rolling down their windows too soon and ruining your hard work, you can tape over the window buttons with special tape. This tape contains warnings like “Do not roll down the windows for 48 hours.”
