What should you do if you accidentally pull the defrosters off a Ford 250?
Answer 1: If you were tasked with removing old film, you are not responsible for the defrosters. You should make this clear before you complete the job, and let the client know that you’re not liable. Answer 2: You will need to replace the glass. Answer 3: The defrosters are poorly made, and they can even come off when tinters try to reposition film during the installation process. Some tinters have reported seeing them fall off even when simply exposed to water. Although this is especially common with the Ford 250, this is a relatively frequent issue with the back glass on all trucks.
