How to tint passenger doors on the Mercedes s550 with factory light gaps at the top
Method 1: There is nothing you really can do besides line up the tint with the top of the glass or line it up with the top of the tint. The customer should be briefed on the situation so they’re not confused as to why the gap is still there when the job is done. Method 2: You can remove the factory tint, but this is very labor-intensive and probably not within the scope of a regular tinter’s work.
