How to tint a 2021 Kia K5
Method 1: A tinter may charge the same amount as a Volkswagen or an Audi on these cars based on the tightness of the doors. The side gaskets are really deep, and the glass contains a strong emulsion which makes it very sticky. There are no screws needed to pull the sweeps, as you can just pop off the panels with your hands. The front comes off by pushing backward on the top edge, and the rears come off by pulling the trim off the top of the door. The front quarter windows need to be near perfect with your cut. There’s only about 1/16th of an inch of room when you tuck the film behind the seal, so there’s not a lot of margin for error. The third brake light cover contains three push pins in the headliner, making them very tight. Directly under the lip, is three separate 10 mm bolts plus another pushpin. Loosen these bolts so that the cover can tilt downward. This will allow you to install the film, but be careful not to snap the panels.
