How to remove the sweeps on a 2019 Mazda 6

Method 1: Pop the clip just behind the speaker – either with your hands or a small pry bar. Then pry back on the top outer edge with your hand and pull out the sweep.

Method 2: Stick a bone tool inside and push them out, or unscrew the door handle and pop them out. Watch out for the plastic on the top back corner, as they are much more fragile than your standard Christmas tree tab. Removing the screw on the handle makes them less prone to snapping in half.
