How to pull the sweeps on a 2021 Mazda CX5 and 2021 Mazda 3.

Answer:  Open the door and grab the top panel with your bare hands right in the center. Pull out enough so that it pops off, but not the whole thing – just a section in the middle. While holding the panel with one hand, stick your other hand in through the gap. You should be able to feel the sweep. Dig in with your fingertips from the bottom of the ridge. You should be able to pop it off. You may have to slide around or pull one edge of the panel completely off. To reinstall it, do the opposite of what you did before, and make sure to snap the panel back into place afterward just by hitting with your fist a couple of times.
