How to prevent glue breakage on backglass tint jobs
Method 1: Some film utilizes CDA technology where the adhesive is activated when physical pressure is being exerted. This means that any streaks from glue breakage might mean that you’re pressing too hard with your fingertips when shrinking or installing. If you have already significantly increased the amount of slip solution you use then this is not the likely culprit. Some films are also chemically incompatible with certain types of slip solutions. You can also try switching to a different brand of baby shampoo or whatever you use. The glue breakage can also come from dirty slip solution or nozzles. Make sure to undergo a complete and thorough cleaning process of your entire system before trying again.
