How do you deal with window wipers when tinting?
Answer 1: Usually, you power up the vehicle, put in the keys, and activate the wipers. Then, stop the power precisely when the wipers are pointing straight up (towards the roof). This should allow you to flip the wipers up, giving you full access to the windshield. Answer 2: Just remove the wipers. It should only take you about five minutes. Answer 3: If the car is relatively new, you can lift the wipers off the window. Just remember to look at the owner’s manual to figure out how to do this without damaging anything. Answer 4: Cut a tennis ball in half, wedge it under the blade as far back as you can, and tint the window. This should give you plenty of space to get underneath the glass while you shink and apply. Answer 5: A pool noodle will work wonders. Just cut off a piece about three inches long, then wedge it underneath the wiper to lift it off the surface. Answer 6: Shrink the bottom first, then just slide the film up. This should remove the issue of the wipers altogether.
