How do you avoid scratches on Tesla windshields?

Answer 1: Newer glass is much easier to scratch. While you might have been able to get away with cutting on the glass in the past, this is no longer viable. Use a sharpie to create the pattern before transferring to a peel board. Cut the pattern there.   Answer 2: Use glass aid.   Answer 3: Place a button underneath your film before cutting. The snapper from a red dot works perfectly for this task as well if you can’t find a button.    Answer 4: Use tabs to keep the blade from contacting the glass.
