Preventing contamination of tint film

Method 1: There are many things you can and should do to prevent contamination of your film. The first thing to consider is your environment. If you’re outside, debris can fly onto your glass. If you’re in a dusty environment, you will also be more prone to debris. In debris-prone environments, you have to be extra vigilant in your cleaning. Use compressed air, a microfibre towel, and a squeegee. If you’re tinting with the gaskets on, tape them up. Also keep in mind that film can be contaminated before you even start tinting, so practice good storage techniques.
