How to use a plotter to optimize volume and efficiency in a tint business

Method 1: One of the best ways to optimize time, and therefore money in a tinting business is to have film pre cut before cars arrive. Determine which cars come in the most and have 5-10 pieces of film already waiting to be installed beforehand. Cut the pieces you need when you have time and store them in a safe place, and then focus completely on the shrink and install when the client arrives. Method 2: On high volume days, designate one employee to be in charge of the plotter the entire time while others focus on the installation process. Method 3: Start using plotters after your shop tints about three cars per day for every capable tinter. This will take pressure off of the installer as well and reduce the risk of hand-cutting errors by less experienced tinters.
