Method 1: One option is to take an extra 5 minutes to remove the glass to tint. This will eliminate all possibilities of light gaps. This can be done by slipping a lubricated equalizer shield under the side of the glass next to the door. The whole piece of glass will pop out with the chrome trim.    Method 2: Tint without removing the quarters, and use an easy reach or something similar to lift the gasket off the window a bit so you can slip the film underneath. Start by tucking in the bottom, then create a fold in the middle so you can push the top portion of film in.
