How to tint the front quarter windows on a Honda Pilot
Method 1: Trim the inside gasket on the side closest to the roll-up window at a 45-degree angle and slide it in with lots of slip solution. Try creating your pattern by cutting a liner on the outside of the car. You can also cut the liner on your film on a peelboard or other surface. On newer models, the gasket is a lot softer and easier to manipulate. If the gasket is stiff and brittle, some tinters will use angled smart cards to slip the film in. Method 2: If you’re adamant about having zero light gaps, you can remove the glass by first removing the door panels before removing the screws around the quarter window on the top and bottom.
