How to tint a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe front window by going around the sensor

Method 1: Cut around the sensor instead of trying to remove it. 

Method 2: Unplug the wires, remove the interior mirror, and tint around the sensor. 

Method 3: There are metal tabs that you can wedge out at either side. The sensor is affixed to the glass with a gel pad. This sticky adhesive solution can be removed, but reinstalling it can be tricky because that glue is rare and cannot be found anywhere. In addition, the rain sensor will not work once you remove the gel pad.
