What should you do with your employees during slow months, like November and December?

Answer 1: Some tinters try to encourage their employees to file for unemployment during those slow months.    Answer 2: Don’t abandon your workers during these slow months. Remember, these guys and girls are the heart of your business. Keep them around, and keep them employed. Even if they are simply sweeping up the place and doing maintenance work, it’s better to simply find something for them to do rather than telling them to go home.  Answer 3: This is one of the many reasons a lot of business owners stick with just one shop. Opening multiple shops can leave you with tons of employees who are suddenly getting paid to do pretty much nothing during the slow months.    Answer 4: You could try offering different services, such as PPF. This service is not quite as dependent on the weather, and can provide some decent income during the slow months. Other options include detailing, sound system installations, and much more. It’s always good to diversify.
