How to tint a 1969 Ford F-100 windshield

Method 1: Just like with a lot of older trucks, you’ll want to rough cut the bottom and slide the film down so it’s overlapping the bottom by an inch or so. Then you can rough cut the top as well, overlap it by an inch or so again, then shrink it. Repeat the process on the bottom and then do a thorough cleaning. Older trucks may have extremely dirty vinyl trims, and it’s best if you can get away with not removing them so that they don’t snap on you. You can also slice the vinyl trim with a knife by about a 16th of an inch and then slip your film right up against it to avoid light gaps.
