How do you use the marker method and make sure that the film lines up?

Answer 1: Line up the bottom first. Next, cut the sides halfway up the window. Finally, roll the window down two inches and finish the rest of the cutting.    Answer 2: As you cut, try to maintain the correct angle and curve towards the marker line.    Answer 3: Place the straight bottom edge of the film on the outside bottom edge first, tacking the film in place. Next, use a marker and mark the front and back edges. Then keep the film tacked while lifting the bottom edge and rolling the window down slightly. This should allow you to shave the top edge with a knife. Finally, you’ll need to take it to your peel board and cut the edges, following the marker lines you have left previously. The last step is to round the corner and put everything in place.  Answer 4: The process doesn’t need to be complicated. Simply line up the factory edge with the bottom of the seal, tack it in place, cut it all the way to the top along the edge closest to the vehicle. Next, cut the other side two inches before rolling the window down. Rinse and repeat until you have reached the edge of the glass. Finally, transfer it all to your glass board and trim, leaving about an eighth of an inch. You are now ready to apply the film.
