How do you tint a 1989 F150?

Answer 1: Be aware that if you remove the back glass, you will need to deal with remaining hard plastic around the outside and top edges.    Answer 2: Whatever you do, don’t remove the glass. If you do, you’ll need to purchase a new chrome locking strip, and these components can be hard to find.    Answer 3: Make it very clear that the job will not be perfect. These older vehicles make it almost impossible to avoid dirt, grime, and other imperfections. If they want perfection, you might want to pass.    Answer 4: Trimming correctly is very important with this vehicle. Cut a little longer than necessary and trim all the edges inside the vehicle. Remember to go overboard with your cleaning and prep stages.
