2019 Ford Raptor has a crack in the windshield immediately after tinting. What happened?

Method 1: Windshields on Ford Raptors are not known to break after tinting, so it’s possible there was an issue with the removal of the mirror. Fords are notorious for difficult rearview mirror removal. Tinters inexperienced in removing them may not realize how touchy they are, and put stress on the glass which then later gets exacerbated by heat or temperature change. If you never removed the mirror in the first place, it could also be that you put too dark of a tint on it, causing breakage in extremely hot temperatures.
