Silver reflective Window Films are one of the best performing and most widely used solar control window films. It reduces high levels of incoming solar heat and glare coming in through your glass, which can significantly improve working/living conditions. Can lead to a reduction in air conditioning costs and hence a reduction in energy costs. Creates a more comfortable environment and can reduce tiredness and eyestrain.
Silver Reflective gives an external mirrored appearance to glass which can upgrade the appearance of a building. Offers one-way daytime privacy for security or to screen unsightly areas. Filters out virtually all UV rays, helping to protect fabrics and furnishings. The 20 and 35 percent versions are extremely popular for commercial applications. Silver 50 is an outstanding high-light transmission window film fantastic solar performance specifications while delivering the preferred appearance for residential applications.

The lower the Shade, the darker (more reflective) the film.

5% – Very Reflective
15% – Very Reflective
35% – Medium
50% – Light
70% – Light

Note: The “One-way mirror effect,” or “so you can see out, but nobody can see in,” is all about the “lighting.”  Window film on glass works much like regular glass. During the day when the light is shining outside; one can see out and it is hard for outsiders to see inside. At night when lights are on inside, one cannot see out but outside, people can see into the home or building.

The best solution is to install a light outside the shines onto the glass and to install a reflective film, Silver 5% or 15% along with a second layer of non-reflective/automotive film 5% on top of the reflective layer.  {The lower the #, darker (more reflective) the film}.  

The Silver 70% is virtually transparent.
